About Us
Our passion has always been food. This started in Costa Rica when my abuelo would allow me to help him in his restaurant. I have been in the restaurant business for many years. After much encouragement from friends and family who have tried our food, our family decided to take the plunge and start a food truck!
Most of you are wondering what does Tico mean. Tico is a Costa Rican! Our food is not just from Costa Rica but also a mix of my other family members and friends. I mixed latin food from Colombia and Mexico. There is a Tico in a Truck cooking!

Tacos
Cilantro Lime Taco
Choice of smoked chicken, steak, or carnitas. Served on a toasted corn tortilla with cilantro lime slaw and drizzled with avocado crema. This can also be served with spicy ancho chicken or steak.
The Extra Street Taco
Choice of smoked chicken, steak or carnitas. Served on a toasted corn tortilla with Pico de Gallo, four blend cheese drizzled with jalapeno cream sauce. This can also be served with spicy ancho chicken or steak.
Tico Taco
Carnitas on a fried corn tortilla with slaw, French fries and drizzled with ketchup and mayo.
The Veggie Taco
Sautéed peppers and onions served on a toasted corn tortilla with refried beans, avocado, cilantro lime slaw and topped with Pico de Gallo.
